PROJECT BRIEF

Blueprints show the relationships between pages and other content components. They can be used to show organization, navigation, and labeling systems. The blueprint serves to provide the navigation system and display the “shape” of the information space in an overview, functioning as a map for site developers and users.

 

PROCESS

For this project the first task was to assess the site and become familiar with the content and navigation systems. Then the documentation of elements was created using sticky notes. Additional information about the navigation systems and specific content were taken into consideration. Taking the sticky note image, I began sketching out a blueprint and finally committed the sketch into a final deliverable that you see here.
